It has been one week i do internship. I'm working in BizAid Technologies Sdn. Bhd. which is situated at Level KUB.com. (10 minutes walk away from KLCC LRT station). Start from 8.30am till 6.00pm every Monday to Friday. My main job scope is general administration, accounting and stock control.
I have a tough time on the first two days. I walked 3 hours just to go to banks and outlets. My legs were so painful especially at my toes there, even blueblack both biggest toes. The next day, I travelled another 1.5 hours to go banks and pay bills again. For the whole week, I'm so tired and whole body aching. Sounds like my job is hard right? But sometimes, I'm just too free and don't know what to do (this is the good part). Hehe...
On Wednesday, all of us, the interns, when for a movie called 'Indiana Jones'. It's kind off a comedy + action movie. For me, it's a nice movie. I don't know about others. We went to KLCC TGV directly after work and had dinner at the food court. After the movie ends, we seperated and went back home.
It seems like so enjoy doing intern? Not that easy. I have reports that needed to be handed up. One is task report that I need to pass to my supervisor at the end of the week. Another one is a log book that needed to be written everyday on what I've done and require the signature of my supervisor. This is required by the university.
At the end of the whole intership period, I need to prepare a full report regarding the intership and send it to the university. We, student are given 2 weeks to finish up the report.

Malam Pesona Retro
12th April 2008
My class of Event Management held a dinner called 'Malam Pesona Retro'. It's our assignment actually; to organize an event. The event kinda come out not so right but have a happy and reliefing ending :) .
The day start off with the tension and nervous feeling. Thinking whether the event will success or not by the end of the night. Every group member cooperate among each other to make the event success. We busy from the morning till evening just for the preparation of the event.
You know, we are like being cheated by the Palma Catering. Argg... Luckily we could get our food ready on time. Of course thanks to our lecturer being late too. What happen?? When we make order cum agreement, the food should arrive cooked and we just need to barbeque if the guest want it hot. BUT, to our surprise, the fish and the stick fishball and sausages were raw!!!
It's a small dinner with around 50 people only. We had entertainment from our group leader himself and a girl from the group. Other than that, we had an acoustic group from the Indonesian students to perform. And ya, the dinner was cheerful too with the appearance of the good MC. He did an unexpected but good job on that day!
The night end with a birthday celebration for our class lecturer, Cik Suryati Shukor. Birthday songs were sung in English, bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin with the accompaniment of the acoustic group guitar players. All we can see is the happiness and smile on our lecturer's face. It's a good sign for us! hehe.. agree?
Finally, all our hard work is paid off. Everyone has their own 'photography session' before they went back. It's a tiring night..

'Seminar Pengurusan Operasi' Day!
27th March 2008 - A busy and tiring yet enjoyable day!!
The students of the class reach SJK (C) Yit Min, Changlun. Let me go in briefly about the day first. During the day, we had 'Entrepreneur Orientation & Workshop Motivation' while during the night we had grand dinner. 2 activities in 1 day!
Entrepreneur Orientation & Workshop Motivation
At first, we had breakfast then continue with motivation lecture from En. Azhar, one of the subject's lecturer. After lecture, we had lunch. Then, we had an activity that challenge the students' creativity. It's a competition that they have to create a product and promote it with the materials provided among groups. U know what my group create? A Music Frame! Haiz... not special at all compare to other groups... but nevermind.. i dont care.. hehe...
Intersession
Then we had teabreak and rest for 2 hours before the dinner begin... All of us got a chance to take bath.. Haha.. first time in my life, i went to comlex to bathe, Changloon Complex!!! Huah... Actually, they provide us places to bathe but too many people.. so my friends and I went there to bathe.. Weird hor?

Register at 7.30 pm same place, the school hall. I feel like it is the next day of function but actually is on one same day! Suppose to start at 8.00pm but the food was late, so we started at around 8.30pm.. so hungry o!! :(
We eat a lot on that night.. We had rice with curry chicken and fish and vege and banana and a cup of watermelon juice. While eating, there are perfomances of drama and karaoke from the students. We enjoy very much.. Ah, one more thing, LUCKY DRAW!!! the moment that everyone waiting for.. To my surprise, i got a draw!! HAHA... so happy you know because i could hardly got a lucky draw.. if my draw is a later by one draw, then i could win a hamper u know.. but nevermind la.. at least i got something... hehe...
Halfway of the event, arrived another set of food. This time, we had coffee and sate and also ice cream!! wah... so full lor... After the event over, there are still extra food, my bf and I and my friend 'TA BAO' some food back.. kaka..
10.30pm... Go back time.. Once reach hostel, direct lay on bed.. SUPER tired... U think i direct sleep meh? of cuz no la... bathe then only sleep... I have a good sleep that night...

1 Day Tour
10.00 am, 20 March 2008, we (ai yan, chiew boey, sing jie, my bf and myself) depart from Universiti Utara Malaysia. The first destination we went was Padang Besar, Perlis. We were so excited during the journey BUT it's being spoilt by Unit Pencegahan Penyeludupan blocking. The person said i speed but i don't think i speed too much. Nevermind lor...
To my surprise, my license was DEAD!! mean expire la... stupide! Got summon for that instead of speeding.. Haiz... so malang! No choice, the journey still have to go on! My bf drive then. At padang besar, my friends bought some tit bits while my bf bought a jersey. After that, we headed to Duty Free Complex nearby and bought chocolate. yummy! yummy!
Finished the northern trip, we went to Changlun for lunch. A chinese coffee shop. The food there not bad and also cheap. Don't know what's the name but it's just right behind C-Mart.
After lunch, the journey continue. We headed to Lye Huat Garden in Jitra. Wow! It has a very beautiful lanscape. Don't miss the chance if you happen to go to Jitra. We took a lot of pictures. In there has exhibition of antiques stuffs such as stones, bicycles and vases. It also has animal garden (birds, mammals, reptile) and fish aquariums! And a lot a lot more! Find out yourself!! It's very cheap and worth it!
Our next destination is Muzium Padi. I heard about it from my friends. Unfortunately, when we reach there, it was about to close. :( So, don't have the chance to go in. Hopefully we have the chance to go there other time la. Disappointedly, we left the place.
A few minutes away, we reached Gunung Keriang. The place is famous for it's crystal. There a many types of crystal with different sizes and colours. My bf and i bought a bracelet while my friends bought pendant. Wahaha... so tired liao... but the journey still on!
Shopping time! We stop by at Aneka (new shopping complex in Jitra). Each of us buy a few things from there; mostly food. Hehe! There are still a lot of shop lots for rent.. There is a cinema too BUT it just open half day on thursday! Funny huh?
Our final destination was Kampung Siam. We had dinner there.. Delicious! The name of the restaurant is 'Makanan Thai & Makanan Laut.........."
We reached hostel at around 9.30pm! Huah! Tired and sleepy but so happy! A meaningful day!!

Busy Week!
Hi everyone, it's kinda long time since the last time i write a post..
I start busy from 31 January (from the moment she arrived at Penang Airport) - 5 February 2008 till today only i got the time to sit at home and rest.. Huh! Tired! Today i could rest because I'm busy with some prayers. In that 1 week time, we've gone to many places.. Prangin Mall, Queensbay Mall and Gama (twice).. My aunt is a real shopaholic! She bought for me 1 jeans. She buys buying clothes for her kids and we (the followers) busy taking care her kids. Wah! Her kids are so energetic. Run here n there and play around non-stop.. We sometimes tired of chasing after them. I'm the part time "driver" and nearly fall sick.. luckily not so serious.. just slight fever.. he!
Today also wake up early morning.. Go pray my late father at Batu Gantong.. then at noon just go out do some stuffs and back home...
Tonight, one night before Chinese New Year. Everyone will be having reunion dinner with own family members. As usual, I think i never had a proper reunion dinner.. but never mind la.. already used to it.. "don't worry, be happy"

The interesting part is we were divided into groups (20 students per group) and given a title to perform a sketch. My group was given the title ‘Harga Barang Naik’ which means the price increment of goods. Haha.. so funny u know... I wish to upload it here but can't because the capacity is too large. Haiz...
In another session, we were requested to draw out four pictures;

The two days just ended like that.. feel wasting money but we still kinda enjoy la.. At the end of the day, prizes were given out for skecth performances. We reach university at around 3pm plus. Again, tired and sleepy.
We, the students of Production Operation Management (POM) Seminar class (Group A & B) are required to organize and attend a workshop out of campus. So, we had the workshop at Dusun Resort, Kuala Nerang for 2 days 1 night. Each of the students has to pay RM60 for this program includes meal, accommodations and transport. Expensive or worth it? It’s more than an hour journey from our university.
We stay in a dorm of 20 people. Luckily there are 2 air cons otherwise will be very hot. It’s actually two dorms connected with a toilet.

In those 2 days, all we do is eat, sleep and attend workshop. The spokesperson for the workshop is the lecturer of group A. The lecture/talk that we’re exposed to is all about career path and the planning. The lecturer told us a lot of stories include his own experience. At first, everyone will listen to him but as the time pass, everyone started to get boring and talk with friends. He! It can be conclude as a useful content of talk but boring. Ha!

Protocol & Social Etiquette Course
24 January 2008, Thursday 
Today, my time is utilized with programs.
Wake up at 7.30am then went to gymnasium at 8.00am with Chiew Boey. To our shock, there are so many people there although so early. Finished gym at 9.30am. We had a packet of Nasi Lemak in the canteen and walked back to hostel at 10.00am. So tired and sleepy BUT cannot sleep!!
Rest a while and start to boil Chinese herb tea. After that cook porridge for lunch. Inside, I put potato slices and ‘Bak Gua’. Not bad, hehe! Then, eat with anchovies fried by grandma. Nyam! Nyam!
At 2.30pm, we went to the Centre for University-Industry (UIL) to hand up the ‘Suggestion Form’ of the preferred internship company by bus. After that, we walked to mall. Huah!! So so so hot… The sunshine could burn my skin. My bf and I walked around the mall and waited for UNIC bus to come and fetch us to Executive Development Centre (EDC) UUM for Protocol & Social Etiquette Course. There are around 250 students attend the course.
Huah… so full… sleepy…

For the first two hours, we listened to lecture by a lecturer from the Faculty of Hospitality. At first, everyone was very excited attending the course but it ends up being boring at the earlier part. The lecture is about how to dress up and how to communicate in a proper manner during a formal function. Some of us talking to each other and some of us took out our handphone and play game! hehe... good student?

8.00pm. The time that most of us waiting for. Time for dinner!! But of course need to eat in a proper manner treat it as a formal function. We’re taught how to use cutleries provided to dine. Seems to be easy; just take the cutleries and eat. NO! There’s full of style and manner. Different dish different way of eating. You know how? We have hard time but enjoyable.
We had mushroom soup, oriental bun, chicken chop set and dessert. Yummy! Yummy! The food was not bad if not being fussy. He!

A Tired Tired Tired day!
YESTERDAY was an extremed exhausted day... Woke up at 7am.. When to Faculty of Business Management at 8am... To my surprise, the queue to meet Vice Dean was so so so long but stil have to queue.. Waited till 11am, at last got to meet him but i cant manage to do the things i want.. he was so 'fierce'... he say, 'No, u have to choose other subject since it's full'.. huh.. u all should know, we student for sure will choose the subject that we prefer to study right? ok.. nvm... i got out from the room and try other alternative.. We went to Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality to find its Vice Dean.. Again, what we heard is, "Sorry, since it's full then u cant add anymore. Try to find other subject.'... (disappointed again) Have to think and plan again... It's so hard for us to make decision and decide the subject we prefer with the appropriate time that can suit our existing timetable.. Between 8am - 11am, I've 'run' to a few places to do things with another friend while my bf continue lining up in the queue..
Wah! Pek chik! All this wouldnt happen if the uni itself make things more clear and professional earlier... It shouldnt be any prob at first.. Last semester, we added Restaurant Management as my elective subject.. Even in my guidebook and the latest guidebook DID NOT mention there is pre-requisite needed for that subject.. suddenly out of no where, the Vice Dean of its faculty told us that there is changes.. Huh! SO MAD!! Now, make us we floating in the air and so headache about it.. till this moment, i still havent add my elective subject... i need to add subject that i least prefer.. How am i going to survive? crap!

Reach room, direct bathe then take a short nap before dinner... The whole night, so free, dono wanna do wat pula.. haha.. u all know la.. class just start, nth much can do yet.. he!
