Eye Swollen

So sad.. inlcude today is the fourth day that my left eye swollen at the corner bottom. I don't know what sickness is this although have seen doctor. After taking medicine also cannot cure. Haiz... Why like this? I hope it fast fast cure. Sometimes it feels pain, sometimes it is itchy. Help!!

Kung Fu Dunk

The next day after i arrived in KL, 13th February:

After lunch, my bf and I got nothing to do while waiting for the night bus back to UUM at 9pm. Again, we went to TGV KLCC and watched Kung Fu Dunk. What attract me in this movie is not the storyline but the graphic and also the charming guys actions when playing basketball. He! Do you have the same comment with me? There's also a small part of touching moment; when Jay Chou is leaving Eric Tsang behind following his father away. Do you feel the same?

Ahha! There's something i wanna share. You know wat, the movie was delayed for about 15-20 minutes because of the screen problem. At first, when the movie start, there's just sound with blank black screen. Wow! that moment, the crowd in the cinema make noises and shouting for unsatisfaction (but not rude or violent la). After a moment, there's graphic BUT still with problem because the image did not display in full. Haha! So funny u know. This is the first time i face this type of problem in cinema. All this while, i thought the person in charge will prepare everything carefully before they open the room for show to make sure everything go smooths. Is this technical problem or human error?

After movie, we walked around again. This time, our target is to find present for our friends birthday. We actually wanna buy a Bee doll but couldn't find it after searching in a few shops include JUSCO in Wangsa Maju. When we wanna find it, we couldn't find it. When we don't want it, we keep on came across it. What a game!

After dinner, then go Puduraya Bus Station and wait for bus lor.. We sit double-decker bus! We sit at lower decker because i'm afraid to sit at the top! Luckily, did not sit at the upper decker. Otherwise, the whole night i no need sleep but just sit in fear. The bus really go so fast u know? 9.30pm depart from Puduraya, 3.30am reach UUM! Huh! I did not sleep well too...

CJ 7

I went down to KL on 12th February morning. Main purpose is for interview. Went interview at 4pm and got the employment letter too!! Hehe! just for internship la.. RM300 only.. The is company is BizAid Technology Sdn. Bhd. in KUB.Com building. It just take me 5-10minutes to walk there from KLCC LRT Station.

After interview, my bf and I went to KLCC Tanjung Golden Village Cinema for CJ 7. Have you people watch? What do you think about it? For me, I think it's not bad la.. Some of the scene really do touch my heart.. I actuallly shed tears. Is it really touching? For me yes lo.. I could feel the poverty and the toughness of Stephen Chow's life in the movie. Good actor hor? Although the movie dont really have a storyline, but i think it's a good movie. Do you agree with me? After movie we just walked around Suria KLCC. We bought Roti Boy coffee bun. It's so delicious and crispy. Yummy! For those haven't try before should go and have a try. It's just a distance away from the LRT Station. We also bought offered sushi at cold storage. HeHe! Eat! Eat! Eat! So fun!

U know what? When we wanna go back, the LRT system have technical problem. So, there were delays and we've waited so long! it's a very long queue as that time was off office hour period. We also queue there for half an hour stil not yet our turn to get into the train. Luckily, my bf's fren, Danny Toh who works in ISETAN whose father was coming to fetch him back due to the problem, fetch us back too! Sit car also faster then waiting for the train. It's a very tired day for me.. I slept before 12midnight.. too sleepy.

Galz Gathering

Yesterday night, 9 Feb 2008, we gals, ex-georgians had a gathering cum dinner at Audees. It is a fine dining restaurant. Wow! there were 25 of us. Can you imagine how's the situation during that night? Totally can't imagine. Let me ask you.. How would you describe "fine dining"? Quiet? Romantic? If you think yes, then our dinner would be up side down.. Everyone is so busy talking and walking around.. Can say a group of people that is hard to serve.

The given time is 7pm. Joanne, Dina and I were the first to arrive. Later on, one by one coming. But we still start our dinner at around 9pm. There's no idea why is it so late. Is it because there no cooperation from the gals or before hand, there was lion dance performance. All i know everyone is hungry. He!

As usual, fine dining, we had appetizer, mushroom soup, main course and dessert. The menu are as follow:

I had the Pan Fried Salmon. The dinner spent me RM46. After dinner, some of my friends went clubbing and some of us went home. A tired night yet happy and enjoyable gathering. I was so full.

Ping! Ping! Pang! Pang! The noise of fireworks and firecrackers brought the night to live during the Chinese New Year(CNY) eve. It supposed to be an excited eve but I’m not feeling well. So cannot enjoy.. haiz…

During the first 2 days of CNY, we, kids just enjoy taking ang pow. Money Money Come! Wahaha… I collect a lot of ang pow liao lor.. (A lot doesn’t mean inside also a lot o!) he!

The first day of CNY, we just stayed at home and “waited for the ang pow to come find us”. Then at night, we went to my aunt house at Taman Lita, Sungai Pinang for steamboat and collected a few ang pows. Here all is big big ang pow. Keke! My aunt bought a lot and all of us ate till so full yet there are a lot left over. Then my sis pack back some (our 2 days meal).

The second day, me and my youngest sis went to my grandma’s house for lunch. Then go Tesco for a walk.. hehe.. buy tomyam paste for steamboat. Yummy! At night, my sis, Andy and myself went for bowling at Midlands.

You see, my day seems so not excited and fun right? Don’t have CNY environment at all hor? Ya lo.. Nothing much to do cuz we don’t celebrate CNY this year. Some of you will know why. Ya!

Busy Week!

Hi everyone, it's kinda long time since the last time i write a post..

I start busy from 31 January (from the moment she arrived at Penang Airport) - 5 February 2008 till today only i got the time to sit at home and rest.. Huh! Tired! Today i could rest because I'm busy with some prayers. In that 1 week time, we've gone to many places.. Prangin Mall, Queensbay Mall and Gama (twice).. My aunt is a real shopaholic! She bought for me 1 jeans. She buys buying clothes for her kids and we (the followers) busy taking care her kids. Wah! Her kids are so energetic. Run here n there and play around non-stop.. We sometimes tired of chasing after them. I'm the part time "driver" and nearly fall sick.. luckily not so serious.. just slight fever.. he!

Today also wake up early morning.. Go pray my late father at Batu Gantong.. then at noon just go out do some stuffs and back home...

Tonight, one night before Chinese New Year. Everyone will be having reunion dinner with own family members. As usual, I think i never had a proper reunion dinner.. but never mind la.. already used to it.. "don't worry, be happy"

2 days 1 night stay in Dusun Resort

25 & 26 January 2008

We, the students of Production Operation Management (POM) Seminar class (Group A & B) are required to organize and attend a workshop out of campus. So, we had the workshop at Dusun Resort, Kuala Nerang for 2 days 1 night. Each of the students has to pay RM60 for this program includes meal, accommodations and transport. Expensive or worth it? It’s more than an hour journey from our university.

We stay in a dorm of 20 people. Luckily there are 2 air cons otherwise will be very hot. It’s actually two dorms connected with a toilet.

In those 2 days, all we do is eat, sleep and attend workshop. The spokesperson for the workshop is the lecturer of group A. The lecture/talk that we’re exposed to is all about career path and the planning. The lecturer told us a lot of stories include his own experience. At first, everyone will listen to him but as the time pass, everyone started to get boring and talk with friends. He! It can be conclude as a useful content of talk but boring. Ha!

The interesting part is we were divided into groups (20 students per group) and given a title to perform a sketch. My group was given the title ‘Harga Barang Naik’ which means the price increment of goods. Haha.. so funny u know... I wish to upload it here but can't because the capacity is too large. Haiz...

The two days just ended like that.. feel wasting money but we still kinda enjoy la.. At the end of the day, prizes were given out for skecth performances. We reach university at around 3pm plus. Again, tired and sleepy.

Protocol & Social Etiquette Course

24 January 2008, Thursday

Today, my time is utilized with programs.

Wake up at 7.30am then went to gymnasium at 8.00am with Chiew Boey. To our shock, there are so many people there although so early. Finished gym at 9.30am. We had a packet of Nasi Lemak in the canteen and walked back to hostel at 10.00am. So tired and sleepy BUT cannot sleep!!

Rest a while and start to boil Chinese herb tea. After that cook porridge for lunch. Inside, I put potato slices and ‘Bak Gua’. Not bad, hehe! Then, eat with anchovies fried by grandma. Nyam! Nyam!

At 2.30pm, we went to the Centre for University-Industry (UIL) to hand up the ‘Suggestion Form’ of the preferred internship company by bus. After that, we walked to mall. Huah!! So so so hot… The sunshine could burn my skin. My bf and I walked around the mall and waited for UNIC bus to come and fetch us to Executive Development Centre (EDC) UUM for Protocol & Social Etiquette Course. There are around 250 students attend the course.

For the first two hours, we listened to lecture by a lecturer from the Faculty of Hospitality. At first, everyone was very excited attending the course but it ends up being boring at the earlier part. The lecture is about how to dress up and how to communicate in a proper manner during a formal function. Some of us talking to each other and some of us took out our handphone and play game! hehe... good student?

8.00pm. The time that most of us waiting for. Time for dinner!! But of course need to eat in a proper manner treat it as a formal function. We’re taught how to use cutleries provided to dine. Seems to be easy; just take the cutleries and eat. NO! There’s full of style and manner. Different dish different way of eating. You know how? We have hard time but enjoyable.

We had mushroom soup, oriental bun, chicken chop set and dessert. Yummy! Yummy! The food was not bad if not being fussy. He!

Wah... Assignment Coming... Interview Coming...

University life is not a university life if without assignment! This semester i take 5 subjects which are as follow:-
1) Strategic Management (SM)
2) Entrepreneurship
3) Human Resource Management (HR)
4) Operation Management Seminar (POM)
5) Event Management (EM)

Every subjects will have its own assignment which carry different portion of marks. So, I will start busy soon..

Meanwhile, I got another problem arising which is INTERVIEW!!!! huah... I so tension to arrange a suitable time to go down to KL for an interview. HELP!!!! Thought of so many dates but stil can't get a suitable date. There's so many obstacles... Sob! Sob! :-( What can i do? When fix a date before CNY, scared theres no bus back to Penang and also hard to get a bus ticket to KL. When fix another date after CNY, suddenly come out a Mid Semester Exam!! Tell Me! Teach Me! I'm going crazy!!!! Haiz... Super Hyper Tension!!

Sick!!

I've been sick for the pass 3 days... Luckily, I'm at home not hostel. After 2 days of suffer, only then i'm willing to see doctor.. Hehe... I got headache (so so so pain), backache and even fever (38.7 degree celcius) Today, i'm getting much more better after taking medicine..

Since getting better, I went shopping at Prangin Mall and bought a pair of shoes and some other things. So, my Chinese New Year shopping has finished. Everything completed, from head to toe. Time passes very fast.. So fast till 3 hours just over in a snap.

Tonight, we'll be having dinner with my grandma at Farlim. She called me so many times today just to ask me whether wanna eat dinner or not. Huh! So tension... Although i said don't wan't but she'll ask again after sometimes. I don't know wanna laugh or cry also.. If you were me, what will you do?
